This hidden little place is a great find. I work right down the street and had no idea it was here(across the street from 7-11). I went in by myself for lunch and had the French dip. Everyone was very nice and the food was ready quickly. The sandwich was delicious, and the fries were crispy with just the right amount of salt. The menu is extensive and I will certainly be back to try additional items. If you are in the neighborhood and looking for lunch I recommend stopping in.

Super cool craft beer pub with good food. Stopped in for lunch at Hidden Craft at the end of October. Food: The Smash Classic Burger was perfect. Perfectly cooked, and great flavor! Great side salad too. Beer: Fantastic selection of craft beer. I love the fact that the electronic pour system allows for small pours. The price per ounce is steep, but the variety and flexibility is fantastic. Ambiance: Unique, relaxed yet cool ambiance Staff: Friendly, helpful staff Value: Overall good value Bathroom cleanliness: average (and you have to ask for the key because of all the homeless people in San Diego)

My boyfriend and I stopped by Hidden Craft because it looked really good on Yelp, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The concept is so cool! I haven't seen anything like it in California before -- I've only seen spots like this in Arizona and Colorado. You get to pour your own beer, cider, or seltzer in whatever size you want, which means you can try as many flavors as you like. It's such a fun and interactive experience. Speaking of drinks, the pumpkin pie cider was unreal. Hands down the best seltzer/beer drink I've ever had in my entire life. Sweet, spiced, and so smooth -- I'm still thinking about it. We also ordered some food, and it did not disappoint. The barbecue burger was the star of the show. So juicy, flavorful, and just absolutely incredible. I could eat that burger every day. We also tried the flatbread, which was decent, but I probably wouldn't order it again. It was fine, but nothing compared to the burger. We ended up hanging out for a few hours because the vibe was so good. They have games you can play, and it just feels like a great spot to relax and enjoy good food, drinks, and company. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in San Diego. It's such a unique and fun experience!

What a cool concept of pouring your own beer or wine to what size you want. You can try whatever you want and not feel obligated. Employees are super nice and took time to explain the concept and how to use the machines. Food: got the burger and sweet potato fries extra crispy. The sweet potato fries were fabulous... crispy exterior with soft interior. The burger was juicy and delicious. The bun was soft and toasted to the perfect texture. The pickles on the burger were crunchy and had best pickles I ever had!

If you are in the mood for classic American food and some good sushi thrown in there, along with a wide selection of beer, this is your spot in San Diego. Ordering is at the front and the cashier was amazing, super friendly, nice and patient with my family. His recommendations were spot on. We had the smash burger, the brisket sandwich, double crunch roll as an appetizer and the daily special- steak frites, Everything came to the table fresh. French fries were hot (the smithing crunchy kind) and the meat was cooked perfectly. The beer selection is expansive as well. The Hefe was delicious. The environment is relatively family friendly and I was surprised that for a Saturday night, it was not that busy. There is an inside seating area low seats and high seating, somewhat stark and minimal. Outside is nice with space heaters and a big TV screen. Highly recommend.

Hidden Craft is a hidden GEM! Let me tell you their vibes, their food, their service all incredible. We were shook by how good their food is and continued eating until we were in pain (their fries are some of the best I've ever had!! Both types!). They also have such a cool beer system where you can try out all their beers and pay by the ounces you pour, it was almost like a self serve yogurt shop but for beer. So unique, so cool and definitely makes me want to go back. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could, half a star off only for the location bc it's directly next to the trolley station, but that shouldn't hold you back from trying it.

This is a very nice, modern, hip and trendy spot that I was lucky enough to stumble across. It is located behind the city's train hub and there is metered street parking within a reasonable walking distance. They have a modest inside dining area with a bunch of craft beer on self serve taps in the back of the dining area. The patio is enclosed, so that you don't have people walking by watching you eat. It is an awesome area and has some nice tables and chairs. There are also some propane heaters for those chilly days. You will also find a lounge area out there with some really comfortable chairs and a television. In addition to their extensive beer selection, they serve typical American pub fare including soups, salads, burgers, BLTs, bowls, flatbreads, tacos, steak, fish and chips and a small dessert selection. They do not have table service. You place your order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. The staff there was very friendly, attentive and helpful. They really enhanced my experience there. I ordered the fish and chips. I sat out on the patio. My food was brought to me in about 10 minutes. It was fresh hot and delicious. The fish was well cooked, tender, and flavorful. The tartar sauce that came with it tasted homemade and was really good. It did have a little kick to it though. In addition to the fries, my meal also came with some delicious steamed green beans. Mmmmmmm. There was a ton of food. I was definitely full after I was done. I really enjoyed my lunch here. They have some very delicious food, first class service and staff, and a hip and smooth vibe. I highly recommend checking this place out.
